Daan Kamerbeek

Daan Kamerbeek combines a sharp legal mind with a down-to-earth attitude. He is resourceful in finding solutions and approaches matters with a pragmatic mindset: clear, purposeful, and to the point.

Since being sworn in as an attorney-at-law in 2022, Daan has further specialized in formal tax law, disciplinary law, and professional liability. At Heron Legal, he represents clients in proceedings against the Dutch Tax Administration and the Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service (FIOD). In addition, he handles professional liability matters and cases before disciplinary tribunals. In tax-related proceedings, he (almost) always works in close collaboration with the client’s tax adviser. He is also regularly consulted by tax professionals for his expertise in formal tax law.

Daan obtained both his Bachelor’s degree (with honors) and his Master’s degree in Tax Law (with civil effect) at Tilburg University, where he was also selected for the prestigious Top Class of Tilburg Law School and served on its board. During his studies, he gained experience in tax litigation, accountancy, and tax advisory services, equipping him with a solid understanding of the professional landscape and his clients’ needs.
